Here, you’ll enjoy a private tasting in an intimate cellar door, often hosted by the winemaker himself. Carry on deeper into the Central Otago sub region of Bannockburn through the Kawarau Gorge. Matt Connell is known for his uncompromising approach to make textural wines of finesse, with poise and elegance. Enjoy tastings and learn about the history and story of his vineyard, wine making techniques and what makes them so special.

Enjoy a five course lunch at the historic Bannockburn Hotel, where the menu features locally sourced ingredients and dishes crafted to an extensive wine list, showcasing the best in the region.

After lunch, head to Misha’s Tasting Room overlooking Lake Dunstan in Cromwell, where they create a repertoire of elegant cool climate wines. Everything is created by hand during the winemaking process, including hand plunging.

Journey back from Cromwell to Gibbston. Finish your wine-tasting adventure at Peregrine, renowned for its dedication to conservation and land.
